Post-casting scrap concrete is used to create the Metabowls, short for metamorphic. Each unique and sustainable MetaBowl is a visual calendar of the most recent day or week of scrap concrete.
We custom fabricate every piece at our studio and usually have a little extra material left over. The planters are made up of the extra concrete we have on hand creating a unique planter every time. Some planters are made with layers of concrete from different pieces and some are solid colors from one large piece.
